Africa Climate Exchange

AfClix is a boundary organisation set up to ensure that climate-related policy decisions for improving food security are made with the best available weather and climate science. It works by bridging identified, country-specific gaps between decision-makers (NGOs and government) and African climate scientists and by improving capacity in Africa. In practical terms, AfClix connects expertise and creates spaces for dialogue via exchange fora and other knowledge-sharing activities. Working closely with African colleagues at the science-policy interface, AfClix is helping to initiate practical innovations for promoting resilience on the ground in sub-Saharan Africa. The web portal underpins the ground-based activities to help maintain new relationships, exchange news, connect expertise and share learning from the projects across disciplines and sectors.
