International Partnership on Mitigation and MRV

In the framework of the Petersberg Climate Dialogue in May 2010 in Bonn, South Africa, South Korea and Germany launched the International Partnership on Mitigation and Monitoring Reporting and Verification (MRV). The overall aim of the Partnership is to support a practical exchange on mitigation-related activities and MRV specifically focusing on Low-Emission Development Strategies (LEDS), Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMA) and rendering emission reductions measurable, reportable and verifiable (MRV) between developing and developed countries.

International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA)

Mandated by the governments worldwide, IRENA will promote the widespread and increased adoption and sustainable use of all forms or renewable energy and facilitate access to relevant renewable energy information, including technical data, economic data and renewable resource potential data.
