This initiative promotes local public policies to combat climate change in the cities and towns of Argentina. It is coordinated by a network of municipalities, which provides technical support to local governments to achieve sustainable development in accordance with the recommendations of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Specific objectives of this initiative are to foster citizen participation, as well as coordination between government, the private sector and civil society.
This network aims to contribute to the development of a virtual space for integration and knowledge, it links different institutions as well as individuals from Bolivia and the rest of the world, interested on sustainable development and environmental issues, through our website and its resources, such as the newsletter and the virtual magazine.

The Adaptation Knowledge Platform is a response to the demand for effective mechanisms for sharing information on climate change adaptation, and for developing adaptive capacities in Asian countries. The initiative supports research and capacity building, policy making and information assimilation, generation, management and sharing. It will also facilitate climate change adaptation at local, national and regional levels, while working with existing and emerging networks and initiatives.
REGATTA is designed to help coordinate Latin American Countries regional and sub-regional networks and initiatives on climate change. REGATTA offers additional support through a broad range of capacity building activities and advisory services. Through these activities, REGATTA aims to improve effectiveness and cooperation in existing networks and initiatives by bridging remaining gaps and facilitating coordination.
REN21 promotes renewable energy to meet the needs of both industrialised and developing countries that are driven by climate change, energy security, development and poverty alleviation. The overarching goal of REN21 is the illustration and promotion of policies that will increase the wise use of renewable energy worldwide. RES LEGAL Europe is a professionally edited and free of charge online database on support schemes, grid issues and policies regarding renewable energy sources in the EU 28 Member States, the EFTA Countries and some EU Accession Countries. The database covers all three energy sectors: electricity, heating & cooling and transport.
